How to Make Money Online with Amazon Mturk

Amazon Mechanical Turk also known as MTurk is a crowdsourcing marketplace where companies and individuals known as Requesters ask Workers to perform tasks over the internet and these requests are known as HITS.  Workers who complete these tasks are then given a monetary payment for their work.  Some of the HITS include transcription, data entry, keyword searches, writing articles, completing surveys, tagging images, and many other tasks. 

To complete some of these tasks the Requester may ask the Workers to take a qualification test first.

Payment requests for completing tasks can be transferred to your bank account or can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. 

Some of the tasks can be tedious and low paying, but sometimes you can find decent-paying tasks.  The highest paying tasks on MTurk tend to be the transcription jobs, article writing jobs, and some of the surveys.   Sometimes a Requester will offer a bonus payment in addition to the amount already rewarded for completing a HIT. 

Some people have made decent money using Mturk, but for most people, Mturk is a way to make a little extra money in their spare time.
